I want to order my 2002 s2k, but i dont know what color i like the best. Also I love the red leather, so I want to order the Grand Prix White or the Berlina Black, but which one? I wanted sliverstone sliver first, but since its discontinued i cant get it and i haven't seen any pic of the new sliver. I heard its hard to keep white and black clean, but when they are clean they look great.

So I just wants some pros and cons of white and black.
And pros and cons of red leather.

 

White cars aren't that bad to keep looking pretty good. I think you can let silver cars slide in appearance the most and still have it look ok, but white doesn't fall far behind. If you have to contend with road salt during the winter, white becomes harder to keep looking good.

 

Go with black. The interior upgrades for 2002 will look great w/ the black interior (chrome accents go so well w/ it), and although black is the toughest to keep clean, when it _is_ clean, _no_other_color_ looks as good.

Plus, the black ones are faster

All I can tell you is that I LOVE my white/red and wouldn't have any other color. The WHITE is so fantastic. I've never had a white car before and it gets a lot of attention.

Had a black Prelude and it was a PITA to keep clean.

Someone didn't get the word that the FASTEST ones are RED. Why else would the red one be the first one that you see in the 2001 brochure?
