What the....Costco doesn't carry s2000 batteries?
#22
With winter winding down (hope and praying ) I pulled my 17 lb Braille battery out of winter storage in the basement. I put the battery tester on it and the battery still tests out at 495 CCA after 2 years of use. It was rated at 475 CCA brand new. Still runs like a champ with 13 lbs savings over oem size batteries. I've never had to put a battery tender on it during the driving season, even with the car sitting idle for long periods of time. It does cost a bit more though.

This is an old thread, but its newly relevant. When Costco recently switched to Interstate as their battery supplier, they stopped carrying the group 51 battery that directly fits our cars.
According to the local store, they are not even able to order it.

I tried purchasing a battery there for my 98 Accord about a year ago and their books claimed that they didn't carry a battery for it. I'm still on the original battery in my '06 S.

FYI as a CSAA member I got mine delivered and installed at roadside, got it two years ago and it costs maybe $120.00. Had to do it, i was stranded. works fine. they have a special truck loaded with batteries just for this.
