I purchased a Black on Black MY00 S2000 with Side Strakes, Front, and Rear Spoiler with 24k miles for $27,900 on 30-JAN-02 in Birmingham, Alabama. It was Honda Certified with a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty (That's not good for anything that actually messes up). I financed the car through AMH. I put down $1750 because they made me and I pay $560.59 per month for 60 months with 5.9 APR.

What do you mean, "they made me"? Looking at your APR, it doesn't look like you have bad credit.

I understand. The whole entire process can be a stressful and sometimes when we want something so bad, we can get blinded. I was also pressured to "put something down." First Finance manager asked if I could put down a grand...I said no, he then said, $800, $500..and I finally said, "I said, NO MONEY DOWN, what part of no money down don't you understand!?" Yeah, it might sound rude, but I was pushed and I just pushed back. Good luck with your payments.

Because of my credit status, I didn't have the pull to push back. But when it comes time to purchase my next car I will be in a better situation.

New to the board.

MY02 Lease 36 Months $0 down $450/month (not incl. tax)

Plus the dealer made the final 2 payments on my previous lease just to get me out of it-funny thing is the lease company auctioned it off before the final 2 months was up and I received a partial refund. I didn't know that was possible.

Yeah, 3k, I have a history with this dealer so the GM gave me a "deal." And when I mean history, I mean repeat customer. My mother got her first accord from the GM, (and her second), my step-father got his Pilot there, my mother-in-law got her accord coupe from him, and I brought couple of friends who bought cars from there. And I was there for every negotiation so I have a honest () direct relationship with the GM. Needless to say, I'm glad I have this relationship.
