I Didnt See This Post anywhere else on ths site and felt it was the best question after seeing everyone else post payments on another site (for RSX's) So my question to everybody else is

WHAT DID YOU PAY

BUY OR LEASE

TERM

HOW MANY MILES PER YEAR IF LEASED

DOWN PAYMENT

I was looking at a 48 month lease with 15k miles/year, $1500 down for $375 per month through Honda Financing. This includes tax and EVERYTHING. Pay 1500 down then 375 for the remaining 47 months. i just cant afford to buy it.

Im still in college and everything my other option was an rsx type-s (was gonna buy) and somehow i just started looking at s2000. cant go back to considering an rsx, the s2000 is just amazing but it changed my car buying from a buy to lease. also it saves me money to still take out all the chicks i pick up in a spa yellow one.

0 down, $444/month(incl tax) 48 month 12,000 mile per year lease. I am also in college, and the way to do it is with 0 down. That's the whole idea of leasing, if I had had to put a couple thousand down, I wouldn't have even been able to get the car.

It's very important to note the date of purchase and location. Prices have dropped substantially over the past several months.

Also, for used car pricing information, here's an ongoing thread:

31,000 for the car before tax, registration etc. in Sept of 2002. Could probably buy the same car now for 29,500 to 30K now. In July of 2002 it was full sticker. In the twin cities 90 miles up the road they were paying sticker plus mark up last summer. Don't know how they are selling there now.
