What did you do to your S2000 today?
What I did do was slide a little piece of cotton rag between the adjuster and boot ("accordion thingy"), it allows the collar to rotate a little smoother.
Installed Spoon Sports engine mounts, transmission mounts (comes with a new reinforced OEM transmission mount bracket/brace), and front/rear differential mounts.
Took around 4 hours to install everything working alone, but the time and money spent was well worth it. Should have done this sooner. The S is direct, crisper and more energetic feeling. Virtually no cons with these mods as it eliminates a ton of engine/driveline slop vs. the stock mounts.

Oh pffff 100%. Thats the only thing I don't love about it. I tried to slide the filler neck boot back a little but she wasn't having it.

I used a large zip tie to help get the boot away from the adjuster..Tied the zip tie off to something back there and partially squeezed the boot off the cable.
Just for grins here is a thread on it:

Yes, the vibrations at idle are noticeable, no doubt. There is some added sound reverb at throttle in the cabin as well. I think the tolerance for the change is relative and subjective. The amount of crispness and improved shifting, downshifting, and reduction in diff slop vs. the added amount of NVH to me is what made me say virtually no cons to the mods.
