Battery is showing full charge so it appears it was a lost connection.

Hope I didn't lose the codes but just a minor PITA if I did.

Probably have to spring for a new battery this year anyway
Hope this fixed it. I've seen it happen before. I'm debating a new battery this year too, but the original from 2003 is still plugging along! Part of me wants to see how long it will go.
Only problem with my battery is that if the car sits for 7-10 days in the summer, it wont crank

Changed the accessory belt. SO MUCH EASIER than their transverse mounted FWD cars!

Should be a law.

I found with mine that if I left it off tender for any length of time after the battery started acting up that the car would not start - battery was totally flat. I could recharge and as long as I drove the car relatively regularly I would not have a problem but as soon as I left the car for an extended period the battery was flat again. I think the battery sulfates if you don't leave it on tender all the time when you are not going to be driving it for an extended period, and once that happens it will not accept a charge. I got three years out of my last battery and 4 out of the first on my 2007 so that is what I kind of expect will happen going forward. Of course I only drive it 6 months of the year if I am lucky - it doesn't come out of the garage until the roads have been swept of gravel and salt and we have had probably one good spring rain to clean off the roads.

I think I jinxed myself. Looked again and the red light was flashing indicating a bad battery. That may be from the -15 cold snap we had.

Anybody know if I'm hurting anything by leaving it flashing. Hope to get it inspected in April without losing the codes

Unplug the Tender, check/twist the connections between the tender and the battery, and plug it back in. You may have lost a connection.

Good tip. I actually did this yesterday and it worked for a while before the bad battery light started flashing again.

Did it again on your suggestion and it seems to be working for a few hours, We'll see if we get to full charge. Battery is 6 year old

I hook up my solar charger if I'm leaving the car sitting for more than 2 days. The battery lasts for only 3 years before it starts to act up. Our batteries' reserve capacity is pretty small, but I suppose it's a trade-off for weight.

Put it up on jack stands
Took the airbox out, again
Took the VTEC solenoid off to check it out out of curiosity
Eventually today I'll swap out the lower radiator hose but I highly doubt that will fix my issue with it. Hope so, but doubt it.

I was in the process of installing new daytime running lights. I also took the time to repair my factory front bumper as all of the mounting points for the speednuts along the lower edge were damaged so the oem lip wasn't overly secure. I put in new pieces of aluminum brackets with rivets and it is nicely secured now. Bumper reinstalled over new DRL's

It's hard to get good pics with the car still on jackstands and the vehicle in tight quarters.
