Finished installing the Invisamask....2.5 hours to do the fascia....it's not perfect but meets my criteria. I need to a some film at the back of the rear wheels. In front of the headlights was the worst part...I had to relief cut at the front point of the headlights. Well at least now I can drive it on the interstate..It's only been driven on back road since November when it was bought. They're more fun on back roads anyway, so nothing really missed.
Figured id share some of the recent things ive done to my car.
Put back on the OEM Cat, and in intake for Smog.
Took almost all stickers off the car, and currently am shopping for a decent budget buffer to clean the car.
I also had some carbon door cards installed, and matched them with GT3 style rosettes and alcantara door pulls to match other interior pieces.
I am still shopping around on some good hardware hardware in place of the silver screws currently installed.
Detailed the wheels, and coated them in Chemical Guys Max Coat Wheel Guard in hopes to minimizing brake dust.
Yesterday, I picked up my car from Zero Auto Factory after having them install my Hasport engine and differential mounts. I opted for 70A durometer for both sets of mounts. I also had an issue with my trunk not opening via the key fob/button inside the center console which turned out to be a broken power and ground wire in the wiring harness for the trunk; the wiring for my third brake light was also repaired during this time. Lastly, I had Alan replace my spindle nuts and torque the newly-installed spindle nuts to the correct torque specification.
Check and adjusted the valves, it's a 2007 which are known to run lean, only 18,622 miles, but I figured it would be good to check. 8 of 16 were a little snug. One two exhaust on #3. I had looked at videos and people complained about how difficult it was to remove the valve cover...not sure what the problem is as it was nothing more than working the angle a little, on and off was nothing. It was worse getting the feeler gauge in there to check...that took a little patience....hardly even got my hands dirty..a little oil but that was clean..

It's cause it only has 18k. Mine was extremely stuck; I kinda panicked and thought I'd have to tow it to a mechanic. I was putting a ton of pressure on it and had to pry it with a screwdriver from multiple angles. My knees hurt for three days from leaning over the car.
I got my $4k custom stereo installed today. Super happy with the end result. All factory audio controls were integrated with other added features. I had every single speaker including the rears replaced. Will make topless driving fun this summer.

OH MY that's aweful. What I had seen was more of a problem getting it past the firewall. The gasket seal was easy, just popped it loose by hand...no extra persuasion needed.
Yesterday, I installed my Billman TCT! I wasn't having any specific issues, but it was leaking. Piece of mind. Interestingly, when I loosened the one cap bolt (as Billman recommends to make removal easier with a pry-point) the bolt immediately snapped off - I wonder if that's why it was leaking (not the mounting bolt, one of the other two cap bolts). His instructions were super-easy and it took all of 5 mins. I also replaced my factory air-intake snorkel as it was split near the clamp... so I already had the airbox out. Made the TCT install much easier.
Almost prepped for the season. Brakes are 1/2 done while I wait for new front rotors to arrive.
I drove it hard. Alone. Where I want and how I want and I just have to say...Damn, I love this car. Every time I get to drive it, I am grateful. Every time I get to drive it like today, I am humbled to own this driving machine. I push this car like it is meant to be pushed and the reward is simply awesome. Speechless at times. I love driving this car where there are few cars and fewer people and lots of blacktop without many straits.
