Well, I did it this weekend, but finally replaced the zip tied air/water separator catch can the previous owner put on the car. Pretty much just leaked if it got an amount of oil in it anways . Normally did not see much but have been tracking the car more than autocrossing it so figured I would do something with it finally. I just could not get myself convinced to spend $120-$300 on a blingy can that still required me to remove or move the cruise control. So I went the cheap as F route on mine $30 catch can off amazon. Does have baffles in it although I may add a filter material depending on how well it works. Actually is a pretty well built billet can though for the price. Has a cute little dipstick in it too lol. My favorite is that it simply says "oil catch can" on top. I really wished it had some terrible Chinese to US translation on it like "catch the slippery" but this is still fine. I made and painted a bracket to mount it behind the shock tower using one of the shock bolts. Fits pretty much perfectly, but still added a small piece of foam on the brake controller in case it vibrated against it much and a piece under the bracket on the tower. I created an offset in the bracket so it would not be sitting on the painted part but put the foam under there as an extra measure. Even used some nice clamps that I had in an assortment of clamps rather than the screw type that comes with it. Going to make a small bracket I think to attach the hoses to something but they are actually pretty well secure sitting where they are. So ... its a catch can. Nothing super special !

Hit up some back roads in WI. Found some gems.
The car performed amazingly well on some very technical twisties. Very happy with the balance.

I've got these. They are pretty nice.
Be careful when you take the car to the shop though... cause the hood goes WAY up as you know, and if they are doing an oil change for example they will raise the hood, open the oil cap then most likely jack the car up on a hoist with the hood up. I had a situation where my hood made contact with the top of their hoist because it reached so high up. No serious damage was done apart from scuff marks which I buffed out.

Good point. Although, the only time this car sees the shop is for the annual inspection.

Finished installing the BYS lower seat track, painted the bare metal seat pan and had to do a little welding to add the seat airbag sensor to the rail..I didn't want to just toss it under the seat and make it useless. That took some trial and error. Haven't driven the car yet to see how it feels. One complaint is the track is very stiff when pushing the seat all the way back.....but it won't get moved to often. I thought ot would be noticeable with just the seat base being lowered, but it's not.

senor just visible at the top left
