The sagging shifter boot bothers me, so installed a shift boot collar and then while I was at it, replaced knob with a CR knob. The existing knob had a plastic insert and would never stay tight. Ah, love it now!!!

after.

Almost identical to what I did. However, I am intrigued with the collar below the knob. Where did you get that?

Changed the oil, oil filter, and a new drain plug/crush washer. Everything torque'd to spec - feels good.

Thanks. There is probably a cheaper way to do it, but this is a pretty slick solution, I thought: Super easy install. https://acuityinstruments.com/produc...luminum-finish

Then I tried replacing the stock stereo head unit with an Alpine UTE-73BT, but it had chronic Bluetooth issues (and didn't quite fit, as closing the door would push the button in), so I returned it to Crutchfield.
  • I then installed a Pioneer DEH-S4220BT, which has been great -- it sounds great, Bluetooth works consistently, and I like that it has an app to configure some of the head unit settings
  • I installed this LISEN MagSafe smartphone holder/charger, which has been great
  • I got these visor sunglasses holders
  • I installed this VIOFO A119 dash cam
  • I replaced the straps with Modifry straps
  • Also got the Modifry Glove Box Organizer, Tunnel Bracket, and Cup Holder
  • Some touch up paint
  • Reinstalled and tightened the rearview mirror, after it fell off the windshield
Coming up on the priority list is:
Hey dude, did you have to buy any harnesses to get that Pioneer head unit to work with the dash controls? If so, can you link me to what you bought?

Did swapping out coils & plugs fix your misfire? Or are you still planning to replace injectors? Let me know how that goes! I may have a similar issue to you

Go to Modifry.com

He has plug and play wiring harness and DCI control hookups. It is the only way to go. I got his stuff for my Sony HU. He leaves the company to someone else Jan 1 so do not dawdle.
