I have been able to keep my S's shifter boot from sagging by putting a little blue pill in the gas tank.

yeah, I saw those options, but I was hoping to find something that's cheaper than the $95+$20 or whatever it is

I know that people who do the big Joying screen just need a $15 harness (which is optional if you don't mind splicing) because you can program the dash controls within the interface of the Joying. I'm hoping something like that exists now for single DIN bluetooth head units -- not super interested in a 10" screen

Well, I personally have found spending a few extra bucks on something that really works well, made by a fellow enthusiast, sometimes can hit it out of the ballpark.
Yes, you can do it yourself but think how easy it is to spend the price of a beer for friends in a bar and get something perfectly made for your car.

nothing on the market works as well as the Modifry DCI. ive got about 20 years in car audio and two s2000s over the years. no other part on the market "just works" or is without issues for this car.

buy once, cry once.

Got it back from getting full frontal PPF, paint correction, and ceramic coating.

You’ve been here for long enough, you should be able to PM now.

Have had my S2000 for about 6 months. Engine runs great, but was curious about compression. Checked yesterday and 1/2/3/4 was 240 / 240 / 242 / 250. Seems pretty healthy.

Also, I adjusted the valves about 2000 miles ago at .008" intake and .010" exhaust. Double checked them all and they were all fine - still at same clearances.

Cleaned up the contacts on the dome light switch with some isopropyl alcohol. Now it’s working perfectly again. Then plugged in the battery maintainer and started the countdown to spring.
