New air filter, changed oil/filter and got a state inspection and filled it up with Sunoco 94 and put about 100 miles on it.

was this keeping your key fob from not working the locks?
Mine don’t always work, especially passenger side. I just haven’t looked into it. I use it as an excuse to be a gentleman and open the door for my passengers. Just gets a little weird when it’s a dude

Because my oe intake hose was cracked and broken, I wanted to install this K&N kit I picked up a couple months ago. I was worried that the extra heat from the track might cause a chunk of the hose to break off and get in jested.
Used the hammer to get the oe airbox out
$60 worth of hoses and hardware that my “Kit” didn’t come with.
I bent up some aluminum flat stock to make brackets for the heat shield
This small one was a pain to fasten the bolts behind the shield. I got 1 in and called that good.
Small bracket fastened
And the taller one. I reused the oem rubber bushings and long bolts under the brackets.
Would like to see if I can find some weather stripping to go along the top of the heat shield.
this should have been a quick job but removing 25 yo hoses was tricky. Also bending and cutting and measuring and test fitting certainly added to it. All in all, pretty happy with the results. I know a lot say that loud intakes are a little boy ricer, but I like it.

the actuators get "tired". there's a little motor inside you can change, or just swap the whole assembly. its fairly simple.
