Replaced the OE battery. It still held a charge, still cranked fairly well. I'm moving out of state and leaving the car at a friend's until spring and didn't want it to be dead when I come back to get it. Or to have it not hold a charge any more on the 600 mile drive it will be taking. I figure 12+ years was a pretty damn good run.

Default First Anniversary

It's hard to believe that I've been an S owner for a year. I bought my '06 Suzuka Blue S with 49k during Thanksgiving week '16. I've enjoyed the car a lot. I was not a big fan of convertibles, but I had never owned one. I thought that in the south, the weather would be too hot to take advantage of it. As it turns out, I've driven more miles top-down than up. Thanks to all of the contributors to this forum for providing the information to perform all of the maintenance on this car.

I try to stay away from ethanol if possible.

Finally put my new rims on yesterday. New blue lug Nuts too. Have some carbon fiber mud flaps, but didn't have time yesterday to put them on.

Fresh oil, filter, transmission and diff fluids today. This weekend I'll fire up the heater and give it a good detail before throwing the cover on for the long winter nap.

How much weight do you think you saved?

Right at 30. Totally reversible, I’m just playing. I want to swap battery and intake to shave off about 15 up front.
