What to do to the car next?
I've had my 06 for about 9 months now and I'm to the point where I've got just about everything I wanted done to it short of doing something big like boosting it. This is probably more of a thread of me talking out loud and if anyone cares to read/offer advice I'm all ears. Here's what I've done to the car so far:
- Stereo system (first thing done; gotta have my music)
- Rims and Star Specs which I'll be mounting up again shortly (so tired of my winter tires right now)
- Flashpro (best mod ever)
- Other little things like K&N filter/countersunk shift knob etc.
So at this point really the only thing on my mind would be to get a test pipe and take the car for a dyno tune. According to some Flashpro threads including this very enlightening one by gernby I can drop my vtec engagement down into the low 4000s and gain a crapton of midrange torque over stock with just the testpipe. And since I have the Flashpro I can stop it from throwing a code. My only concern is finding someone who knows what the hell they're doing around here who can tune the car for such a change.
Maybe I'll just keep the car as-is for a while and save back some money for forced induction down the road.
