Default What do i need to install a Hardtop

im planning on purchasing a hardtop but i was wondering what exactly do i need....can anyone help me out...i have a 03...and im going to purchase a hardtop from someone that has an 00...can i use his equptment or do i need to buy other stuff...feedbacks are welcome...thanks

You may need an install kit specific to your VIN and MY; they run about $150-175. Otherwise, when you purchase the HT, it should come with the rest of the install parts needed.

Got to handa accessories website and download the install instructions; it has a list in it of everything that should normally come with the HT.

Would you have to take off the soft top? or does it snuggle in there?

you put down the top first..then you place the hardtop over...
