This is my fifth service visit and the first where the dealer offered a loaner. So as the rain pours down in north Texas I'm driving a new Accord 4 DR. Although the stereo is WAY better than mine, the automatic tranny and absence of VTEC will no doubt take their toll.

What do you drive while Honda works on your S2000?

This is week two of A/C repairs, seat belt and tranny probs have not been dealt with yet...

Congrats on the loaner! My car is going in on Monday and I'm on my own.

I'll be driving either the Modena 360, Lambo, or '90 Nissan Pickup.

I'll make that decision on Monday morning...

I drive my other car, which is a 93 Prelude. Not as much power or as much fun as the S2000, but it's a good car.

My other car is a 1988 Toyota 4X4 that refuses to die. It has been through tornadoes and softball size hail but wont quit although it is approaching 200,000 miles. It makes me really appreciate the S2000 after driving it.
Going on week two (no weekend pass this time) without my car I began to miss what few creature comforts my roadster offered and insisted on a loaner. Maybe the leverage I need to get my car out some day...

What is the maximum recommended power setting for an Accord?

FULL RENTAL POWER!

So I don't miss it too much.

You've had AC problems?

Yeah, if your A/C doesn't cool at idle watch out. Week one resulted in an expansion valve replacement that lasted one day. Week two (isn't over yet) will see my compressor replaced. They have yet to do the seatbelt fix or synchro repairs...

My car is in now for the tranny and my loaner is a 2001 Yukon XL. The hell of it is that I'm enjoying driving it. For now anyway.
