What do you drive in the winter?

I drive my 03 AP1 through the winter, with Michelin X-Ice tires (staying on the road is a higher priority than cornering ability in the winter). For those who say that this is a great car on icy roads -- it isn't. It will get me from point A to point B, but most front wheel drive econoboxes with all season tires will outperform the S2000 in winter driving. And don't say that it is the driver. Same driver in both the S2000 and the econoboxes, and well-used to winter driving. So, don't believe those who say how fantastic the S2000 is in the snow. But it will get you through the winter driving reasonably safely, if you know how to drive in winter conditions. I live in Ottawa, and for years seemed to be the only S2000 on the road in winter, although about a week ago, I did see a blue AP2 with a hardtop struggling through rush hour traffic.

Unfortunately, my Mazda P5 got killed by Bambi, so my new DD is a '03 Saab 95 Aero Sport-combi turbo. Came with all the bells and whistles, including a winter mode for the engine and trans, and winterization of the underbody. Popped some downsized steel wheels with Blizzak WS-60s on it and it was rock solid through a big winter storm just the other day. . . . sucks more gas than the Mazda though and requires premium gas.

I sold my Legend coupe, so I drive my S2000 through the winter. I live in Atlanta, so there really isn't too much of a winter of which to speak. The weather is always freakishly and unseasonably warm, so I enjoy comfortable, top down driving every month of the year.
