What do you guys think of this strut bar?
I have heard that these bars do nothing to help the handling of the S2000. That part of the frame doesn't need any stiffening. The X-brace that goes underneath the car does help, but the shock tower brace is just for cosmetic purposes.
they do little, no matter what you get. I believe complimented with an x-brace down below, they do a bit of good. how much is subjective. but remember, with our chassis, we dont need much reinforcement up there - especially since we don't have struts. =)
I was thinking either Rick's brace or Muz's brace. Any comments on both? I'm thinking more towards Muz b/c I can afford it but if it is worth it to shell out the extra money for Rick's I would.
I have the Whiteline STB from Muz as well as the Whiteline cross brace and am happy with it, Again the STB doesn't do much without the lower cross brace - The only thing I didn't like about the Whiteline stb was the ends only come in yellow and it didn't look good in my engine bay but that was easily fixed with a can of red paint - looks nice now !
