Your car is S/c??? You do have force induction right? Cause i hope you dont think you can run a high 12 with a stock s2(if you do, with all do respect, you are one
coo-coo mofo!!!!!!!!!)
Hahaha, yea F20milo, take a look at my badges. I've been running a CTSC/AC for quite a while now. You have to post pictures of your setup to get an official FI badge, so if you're interested you can probably find a photo of my setup somewhere in the FI forum.

I consider my car to be "lightly modified." I'm running the lowest boost FI kit available, and running gears that are very close to the stock ratio. I simply wanted to raise the bar a little in a number of areas, without making any major sacrifices to the cars overall reliability. It's not a drag car, autocross car, or track car, but just a fun little street car that suits me a little better than a stock S2000 in almost every way. I have an LSD that is far too agressive for a DD, but I'm still running the stock clutch and flywheel. The logic behind all the various choices is really more than anyone would want to read about, so I just have to say that I've put together a number of very carefully selected mods that together enhance the overall package in ways that I thoroughly enjoy. There is always somebody who is quicker, or faster, or a better driver, but there is no way anybody is having any more fun with their S2000 than I'm having with mine, and for me, that's what the car is really all about.

I'm not a drag racer, and my car is not well suited to hard quarter mile runs. The only reason I jumped into this was because because I know I can lay down 60' times under 2.5 all day long, on and others I know have put down 2.1 second 60' times, and I just wanted to point out that I felt that Red Bull's timeslip looks reasonable to me. All the other stuff I posted was just to explain why I felt that way.

AND, just to set the record straight, I truely am a "coo-coo mofo!!!!!!!!," and damn proud of it.

there are two timeslips (of ~20 or so) with 60' times below 2.0s, so 2.0 seconds appears to be hard to break. but it also shows that it's not unprecendented.

and who knows--maybe Red Bull, in addition to driving on a fast track, is in Death Valley feeding his car O2 below sea level. i'd say with all the variables, it's certainly possible.

2.0 60fts are repeatedly achieved completely stock. 1.9 is a little harder to do and thats how you get those freak 13.7 times.

Just to prove to all that my car is bone stock and I have no reason to lie. I toke pics of my car yesterday and you can still see the track # on my windshield (matches # on timeslip) that im to lazy to take off. So maybe this will convince the ppl that are still having a hard time believing that i ran what i ran.

Red Bull, you can never prove this kind of thing to everyone's satisfaction, and you yourself know full well that the kind of times we're talking about here are so rare that skepticism is actually a rational response. It's NOT impossible, but it is highly unusual, and therefore unlikely. However, the trap on your timeslip looks right for a stock S2000, and the 60' time seems to support the ET. Maybe you're running on a track with a few inches more rollout or some other factor that helps produce great ET's, and F20milo isn't. Your times might suffer if you were running on his home track. It is impossible to know for sure, because there are just too many variables.

We've seen similar arguments in threads discussing dyno numbers, and any time you are putting down good numbers, you have to expect some people to be skeptical. Nobody would question a time of 14.7, so if you want everyone to believe you it's probably best to suck at drag racing the way I do.
Ive been racing at Capitol Raceway for years, I also go to MIR when I used to do the Friday night bracket races. The times at both of these tracks were very similar. My DD civic i would run consistent 14.1s at 100mph at both tracks so...

I still dont see why it is so unbelievable that i ran a 13.7? And I pretty much proved it by showing my car with the matching #. I guess in this world there are alot of liars, so i know why ppl are being hesitant. But i dont know what other proof I can give to show my times are legit? And it is purely a good run not due to a shorter track.
