IMO, you can't really shop for an exhaust online. Soundclips really sound nothing like in real life, everyone swears THEIR exhaust is the best, and sometimes pictures don't reveal how the thing will really look in person. I suggest taking some time to find a few people in your local forum with exhausts you are interested in. Then go and see/hear them. There will be no mistake then. Of course, if no one has what you need localy, you may be the guinee pig. I had to do this on my first S when I bought a Tanabe. Worst thing I ever did and I hated the exhaust. Recently, I was considering the Invidia, and lukily I got to hear one at a meet. I ordered one the next day...

i like my fuji. it sounds great at WOT w/top down through a tunnel, but in the cabin under most driving conditions it sounds nearly stock. smooth and deep sound throughout the rpms. goes great w/my aem v2...haven't put on my test pipe yet, though.

I too own the Invidia...it's one of the deepest exhausts out there...however, it is an exhaust you'll have to get used to because of the drone. A testpipe will lower cabin drone about 33%, but it's still loud as ####. Still, I'm just biding my time till I have enough money to go with the j's fx rs dual.

OCmusicjunkie: How's your mpg btw?

My MPG is the same actually, right around 24mpg average for a tank. It was worse before the TP... not because of anything mechanical, but because I was always in higher gears to stay out of the drone range.

The drone hardly exists with the TP and silencers in. It's perfectly fine for a daily driver. When I'm out on the weekends or taking the car for a joy ride, I take the silencers out and enjoy the full sound and power. However, I would NOT suggest this exhaust without a TP. I wasn't going to get one until I lived with the drone for a month and couldn't handle it.

After what I dynoed, I'm honestly not sure you can find a better power-making dual exhaust than the V3. 70mm with very free-flowing canisters.

I have Neuspeed exhaust. I don't find it low just VERY deep. It set off car alarms at 2k - 4k RPM. I can never understand why must be a very deep vibration since i can hardly hear it.

Best part is I dyno'd 5HP max gains.

There was a guy visiting the Honda dealership here from Japan and he owns an s2000 and says that my exhaust sounds just like his mugen exhaust.

But Check out this video guys:

This is a good link also:

A lot of good options other there, there's at least 5 GREAT choices.

pretty hard to beat an invidia for a deep tone (not to mention pretty high on the dB scale).
