pretty hard to beat an invidia for a deep tone (not to mention pretty high on the dB scale).

My MPG is the same actually, right around 24mpg average for a tank. It was worse before the TP... not because of anything mechanical, but because I was always in higher gears to stay out of the drone range.

The drone hardly exists with the TP and silencers in. It's perfectly fine for a daily driver. When I'm out on the weekends or taking the car for a joy ride, I take the silencers out and enjoy the full sound and power. However, I would NOT suggest this exhaust without a TP. I wasn't going to get one until I lived with the drone for a month and couldn't handle it.

After what I dynoed, I'm honestly not sure you can find a better power-making dual exhaust than the V3. 70mm with very free-flowing canisters.
My silencers ran a bit small...Steve@evolution recommended washers in between the silencer and tip. But my mpg went straight down the crapper once I installed the TP (other mods: AEM v1, Invidia V3, Invdia TP). I'm getting about 20mpg on daily street driving (When it was around 23/24 street) I'm WOT at the start of a full tank, but I drive normally (shift around 4k) after that. I think I'm in need of an EMS and a tune...

Sorry for jacking your thread wrxrick...

Spugen dual with oval mufflers, Comptech, and Fujisuboso are probably your best bet. Spugen is the cheapest by far. I'm actually selling my Spugen cheap so send me a PM if you're interested.
spugen dual ovals as indicated above... good combo of looks and sound:
