What gets stolen on a s2000

Garage and a cheap daily beater.
I like this solution the best. Keep your S out of sight and out of harm's way. No sense risking it if you'd only be using it as a DD. But that's just me.

Sounds like you are off to a good start.
I would bribe a security guard of the parking lot to look over it for you.
Bring him a bottle or a carton of smokes every now and then.

Hey thanks for the tips everyone. I will start with the things you all have suggested. Also I just handed in my packet to get my concealed weapon permit. If I can catch someone in the act and as long as they have something deemed as a weapon, I can use deadly force. And believe me, I don’t miss with my 1911.
your sergeant is full of shit.. i was raised in the el paso area, bought my s2000 there, and while some parts did get stolen (Honda badges and side markers) i never complained or worried about it getting stolen. never installed an alarm or bought a hardtop either. of course, if you want to take precaution buy some wheel locks, seat locks, and maybe install an alarm but i find it to be unnecessary.
... however if you live in the central area, which is relatively close to the border but nowhere near ft. bliss i'd worry. the north east side of el paso is also known to have a bit more crime than other areas, but just remember el paso was ranked the #4 safest city in the U.S.
