I'm planning on purchasing one very soon and there is a beautiful 02 Spa Yellow S2k at a local dealer. It has about 5k miles and the sticker price says $28999. The exterior and interior is in immaculate condition. Practically brand new. I'm pretty sure that I can talk them down on the price, but how low should I get it down to? What should I look out for when buying a used S2k? Any advices? Thanks in advance.

 

Being that you are on the West Coast, it seems that pricing really varies. Take an S2000 that is currently for sale here in New Bern (not mine).

It's a 2002 Sebring Silver/RED with only 1,800 miles! The dealer is asking $28,500. However, they are ready to move on this one, so they may be able to negotiate to a lower price.

I took pictures of that car. Nothing wrong with it, only one little scratch that a little bit of Zaino and elbow grease could work out fine.
