A comment that I heard from some kids probably around my age (18) as they were passing by my car at IN-N-OUT:

"...yeah, thats the new Saleen we saw in the magazine, look at the S."

I have Ricks badges. The car was also parked in head-first, so it wasn't showing off the aggressive front-end either! You would think that kids my age would atleast know something about cars.

the best is hearing two people argue over what car it is... and both are wrong, but one convices his friend it's an S, when his dumber friend says oh it's a BMW... LOL... as if he knows what the "S" really is, he just says it b/c he read my badges LMAO!!!
i love when people go, "oh that's the new S right" b/c they hate to sound dumb not knowing what it is, so they pretend it's the "new one" and they were a bit confused b/c they aren't used to the "new design" that the "S" came out with! as if the older "S" looked differently!
but anyways, the first day i got my car, my neighbor says, "oooooo, the new Spyder???" that was the best compliment!
but people don't really confuse the car for a bimmer or miata, they just ask what it is, and when the male feals dumb near his wife, he'll say, "oh, the new S huh" lol... to show off to his wife how good his car knowledge is! and then sometimes the male will ask, "is that the bigger engine" lol!!!!!!!!!
i love clueless people!

Two makers: Porsche and BMW. It's not as bad nowadays since people are getting used to seeing the S2000 on the road. It doesn't help things when you have Rick's S badges though.
