I have Hagerty and am very happy with them. Had to replace the windshield on the S and they paid 100 percent even sent a check before I had the work done.

With progressive it was $280 per 6mo to add the S2000 with good coverage ($500 deductibles, $500k liability), but we have two other vehicles on the policy. I did a quick quote with Grundy (who insure a specialty car for us) and they're about $500 for the year, but with the benefit of agreed value. Might switch over to them when up for renewal. It's a crapshoot what the payout would be with a non-agreed-value policy.

I’ve been on Mercury together with my EJ6 hatch, AP2, DC5 and my wife’s car. I’m only paying $20.83/month on my AP2

Does not seem right to me as the other two are daily drivers and the S is just an occasional driver.
Yesterday I ran across American Collectors Insurance and it was half the price per year as Geico with the same coverage and no deductible, anyone have any experience with them or have someone else you would recommend?
Thanks

Scott
I used American Collectors Insurance for my 2006 S2K. I had an agreed value slightly price above the purchase price and an automatic 5% increase in value per year . Premium was $650/yr. I think I had to submit pictures of the car for them to verify the condition. Never had a claim but their customer service and processes seemed fine to me.

I have it on Hagerty. It wasn't much cheaper if any cheaper at all than GEICO, but agreed value & supporting their community was worth it to me.

Not exactly sure. Best I could figure it was a very small chip that spread. There was nothing that seemed visible to the eye and then one day I went out to the car and there was a crack on the passenger side.
I have never had this happen before both my former daily driver truck and my WRX , which led much tougher lives than my S have had and have a stone crack in the windshields and they never spread.

^ I've had those stone chips that sometimes spread and crack. The last stone chip was in the black edge of the glass that you see on many cars, and you couldn't see the chip, but it eventually spread and cracked quite large. It is best to fix stone chips if you see them fast enough, as the repairs can prevent them from spreading much worse. I traded a vehicle in which had a stone chip, I had it fixed and that was good enough for them, they didn't give me any grief over it because I had it fixed professionally. You can buy repair kits yourself in some auto shop stores now too. I've lost a lot of windshields over the years , all from stone chips, and I do a lot of highway driving.

Both Haggerty and American collectors are about half what Geico is charging me.
