I use a Craftsman jack it's pretty small and does the trick. I picked it up at Sears for around $40.

I'm interested in picking up a nice aluminum jack but I don't want to pay the price of most of them out there. Anyone have one they are using and really like

I use this one. It sells for 79.99 now, I paid 100.
  • Minimum saddle height: 3''
  • Maximum saddle height: 15-1/8''
  • Handle overall length: 23''
  • Two piece knurled aluminum handle prevents slipping
  • Overall dimensions: 20-1/2" L x 9-3/8" W x 8" H

what some people do if they have a floor jack that is too big to fit under the s2k is use the jack that came with the s2k tools.. lift the car a little, then put the floor jack under the car... kinda like a stair case step...

I actually have an alluminum jack for lowered cars... it still doesn't fit, my car is lowered about 1.5"

Just put your stock jack under the car a raise it a little, then use your regular jack.

I have the www.harborfreight.com 3000 lb low-profile unit and it works great.

I got it from Harbor Freight. The picture of the jack is a direct link to their site. It can't hit the front jack point on our cars, but only 1 or two jacks can, and they cost 500 +.

Let me make this cheap and easy for all of you. Buy the Harbor freight low volume jack that Strat is showing, or the high volume jack that looks the same but costs about $40 more. They are both very light. The high volume will raise your car off the ground in 3 strokes.

No matter whcih one you buy, leave the Honda jack in the trunk. You can either;

A. Jack the car from the side jack ponts with the harbor Freigt jacks with no problem and lift either side of your car or,

B. Use a couple of 2x6s about 2 or 3 feet long. Lay them in front of your front tires. Drive on. Now you have all the clearance you need to get the Harbor freight Jack under the front of your car and reach the factory jacking saddle that will lift the front of your car.

Hope this helps.
