What is the little click you hear at startup?
When you start the car, after lets say 1 second you hear a little click. If you already put on the HID's, you will notice they get weaker and then back to full power. Is this something in the electrical circuit? Or is it the system to rapidly heat the catalyst convertors that goes to work and uses a lot of battery power? I usually wait to put the HID's on because I think it may be not the best thing for the HID's to put them through that situation... Any thoughts?

usually you'll hear a click and then a high pitched whining noise, this is just the air pump turning on to help control emissions while the car is warming up... no worries

I haven't noticed a click, but as I said in another thread, I hear the high pitched whine very well.

When you start the car when engine completely cold, wait 2 seconds while looking at the dash, you will hear a little click (music off ), you will see the LED's of the dash go darker a bit and then in a fraction of a second it's back to normal. It must be the air pump like you all said I think...
