Default What to look for when purchasing?

So, possibly Monday I will be buying an s2000. I wanted a 2007 or newer, however my limited credit history and families unwillingness to cosign has forced me to get an older one, or wait until I have a longer history.

It's a silver 2004 with 133k miles on it. Really didn't want anything with that many miles, but I've owned plenty of Hondas in the past with significantly more that didn't give me any trouble, such as the LS-VTEC swapped CRX that I've owned for the past few years that's closing in on 300,000 miles. I built and swapped the engine about 20k miles ago because the old D16A1 was burning a bit of oil and quite honestly a bit too slow.

What should I look for? I saw the article about the top tearing and it kind of scared me. I'd like to get a hardtop, eventually, but it seems like they're difficult to find OEM.
