Default what makes the 2.2 a 2.2

versus the 2.0

Is it the bore or stroke

stroke went up from 84 to 90.7 mm

bore remains unchanged

They changed the pistons, rods and crank. The block is the same for both.

True, but it is the stroke of the crankshaft that makes for the extra displacement.

LOL, only if r is equal to 1/2 the bore and h is equal to the stroke.
