Bieg can have his post in Car Talk since we all know that what he has to say is so important that it couldn't possibly be OT.

Agreed, I normally don't agree with many of Bieg's comments, but personal attacks are completely unwarranted, especially from a moderator.

What is going on here? Why are the moderators making insulting and sarcastic references to Bieg's clearly relevant discussion? Why is Jay Li making threats? I like this board, but I am offended by the immoderate comments of the administrators. As to Greg Steven's rolling his eyes in response to Bieg's post, I suppose Greg thinks that constitutes a worthwhile and meaningful use of bandwith. I also don't understand why some members respond with personal attacks to Bieg's comment that his clearly relevant posts are being shunted to off-topic.

Not happy about how this is being handled.

BTW I didn't know who moved the first thread until you took the time to respond with your first wise *ss comment.

 

I don't see the threat from Jay... he was giving Beig a chance to stop taunting the moderators. If you read back through this, no moderator was insulting Beig, nor threatening him. He's being defensive because of the events of the past few days, which is understandable. But, Jay was right... taunting the moderators is no way to solve a problem. If I had remembered to put that smile in my first post, it would have been received as the joke that it was.... lets just all cool it, people. We all love our cars, and I agree with the sentiment of Beig's original post. I see no problem with it being in Car Talk, but it's not my Forum. These guys are trying their hardest, and if you don't like how a moderator handles one of your posts, just send them a private message to try and resolve it... don't start a flame war on here.

I didn't make ANY threats. I simply was saying that Bieg taunting the mods doesn't help his case. Does that sound threatening???
