Feeling the need for a little more speed.first race i got into i lost to a crx second race was even with a civic both from a highway roll at about 80ish.so what i am wanting is a lil more "umph" to my ride. Was thinking about getting a supercharger but i don't think i want that much power,don't really race too much only when some punk tries to mess with me.So i'm thinking just gears 4.57 or should i just say &*%$ it and go with the supercharger just want something good enough to beat silly little kids in there srt4's and lightly modded crx's?

 

If you are beaten by Civic or CRX (N/A, non turbo or SC), then the first mod you need to get is to educate yourself at driving school

the stook is faster then a boxter yet you get beaten by a lightly modded crx? You do realize you have a 8k redline right and multiple gears right?

Check my sig and buy my wheels. You'll save at least 4 pounds per corner of rotational mass. That and increased contact patch will net more usable traction and faster acceleration. You can't lose. So buy them already. What are you waiting for?

 

 

Well i have no idea how heavily modded that crx was but we were going about 80ish on the hwy,I dropped it to fourth and floored it,and he came and pasted me at around 98ish.Asked my friend with an 03s2k about it and he said the guy probably had a turbo in that thing.

 

you can make CRX's really fast rather easily... an H22 will make it run low 13s easily, so it all depends on if the guy had a swap... still tho, i would think unless hes FI or spraying or has a huge swap, you shoulda taken him.. especially at those speeds, but i dunno just my .02
