I have had no problems and have experienced no rattles or squeaks in the 14,000 miles I have had my car.

A few "quirks":

1 - can't stop staring at the car!

2 - have dreams about her all the time!

3 - driving it is an addiction

Seriously - no problems - touch wood - hope it stays that way!

Only 473 miles done! Can't wait to VTEC!

my only issue when I picked-up the car was the roof squeaking. I brought it to my dealer, they adjusted it and no more issues. Be sure to watch that oil level. I used 1.5qt of oil in the first 3000 miles, after that the oil level has stayed constant. Look at getting the a protect ant for the vinyl top and use a soft brush when shampooing it. I avoid Honda service if I have the choice due to personal experience.

Have had my 2002 since December 2001 .. no problems or issues. I'm sure your have read several times, but it is very important .... check your oil after every fill up. During break-in your S will most likely use some oil.

I have a small super glue stain on my driver front seat and the wipers don't work on the INT setting....... both are being rectified thru warranty and I hope thats the last I will see of my Honda dealer till routine oil change......(fingers crossed)

If you have the time, be present when they do the PDI, it was obvious that my dealer didn't take it seriously.....

Good luck

I've owned 3 Toyotas and 1 Nissan. This is the best car I've ever owned in every respect. I have no rattles, the paint is flawless and everything does exactly what it's supposed to do. I suggest you do a couple things when you get it. Put 3 good coats of Lexol on all the leather (everything perforated). The Honda leather is very dry when new and will absorb the Lexol like a sponge, but after 3 or 4 applications, it's very soft and supple and mine still looks like new. I would also get a couple coats of wax on it right away.

I've picked up loads of information on this forum. It's a great place to hangout when you can't be driving.

I'm getting a rattle and its getting annoying. I hear it in any gear above 3rd. It occurs when I feather the pedal, but usually on deceleration as the gas pedal is released. I was thinking of going back to the dealer to inquire about this.

There is another thread just opened about this problem. Wondering how many others are getting this rattle.
