Default What is this part called!?

Bought my S a month ago. Two weeks ago im driving and a plastic/rubber piece falls in my lap. It came off the covertible latch. Guess it slides over the hook part. Guess it wore out cuz it was cracked in two places. Now everytime i go over a bump or take a hard corner(which is often ) I get a hard knock sound. I cant find this piece online at my usual go to OEM Honda parts supplier. And they dont know what Im talking about. Any help??? Thanks

I BELIEVE it's listed as "RUBBER" by Honda. that's all it is. Very descriptive name, I know.

The part number seems to be 86251-S2A-901. It's part 91 on here: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...SOFT+TOP+FRAME

Is this what you're talking about? This isn't the OEM piece, but it's the location for the piece I'm talking about.

Check this picture:

Look for part 91. Is that what you're referring to? It looks like when the latch is closed, part 91 would rest on the area that the arrow points to in the pic I posted. That's the only mention I can find of rubber on the catch.

The part's less than $1 online, so I'm sure it'd be less than $10 at a dealer. Might be worth it to order and see if it's the right part. Or maybe the parts guy at the local dealer has a better drawing.

Is it possible the previous owner put something over the "hook" part to keep the top tight when closed and reduce wind noise? Are you sure that the part that fell off is OEM?

Its def OEM cuz its in the pic posted above. Its not the square piece. Its the piece on the hook. Its the thicker part of the hook before it curves. Thats the rubber/plastic piece im referring too. Its like a protective piece. I still cant find it online ughh. Guess ill have to just bring it to the dealer
