What is powdercoating?
I see people talk about it and I like the way it looks with stock wheels. I just dont know what the hell it is. Can you explain without thinking im a moron?

In a nutshell, the powder coating process involves the application of solid pigment and modifiers in the form of fine powder. Typically the powder is electrically charged by ion bombardment in the applicator gun and is attracted to the part which is grounded. When the part is heated in the curing oven, the powder will flow out and cross link providing a very tough, durable finish.
