Towing the s2000?
I remember reading that the s2000 had to be flat bedded and a dolly just wouldn't do. I'm getting the car towed and I can't remember the reason why it had to be flat bedded. Since i'm parked underground, they sent a dolly even though I requested a flat bed. I had him tow the car out of the garage and then asked them to send a flat bed over. (It did make me feel like an ass though) Still waiting for the flat bed right now. Searching feature isn't really helping either. Thanks.
I have heard (not sure how true it is) that it can dammage the LSD.
For a short run, I wouldn't sweat it too much. However, over a longer tow I would want the flat bed too. Just to keep them from pulling my front axle off.
I suspect it has the most to do with not dammaging the front bumper due to the LOOOONG overhanging nose.

IIRC the manual says that because the car rides so low you can potentially damage the side of the car thats facing the ground. Also, if you get towed by a tow truck you need to make sure they don't use the tow hook for anything but straight line pulling. Otherwise you could rip the tow hook right off the car.
How about:
rear wheel dolly instead of flatbed tow?
Plan on towing my S2000 with the Pilot during vacation! Thoughts?
Towing and damage in the future
S2K was towed but not flatbedded.....
Search seemed to work just fine for me.
