From lack of use mine needs to be lubricated..when i try to close the trunk as oppose to just going down and closing mine just goes half way and needs another tap to close.Any input on what should i use??WD40???

 

lithium grease in a spray can. or a trunk spoiler. the extra weight will bring it down.

 

If you don't want spray crap all over, Honda makes lithium grease paste.

 

Rubbing paste grease all over the outside of the hinge will do a lot of good. By the way, Honda sells the grease, they don't make it.

 

right, lithium grease spray here also, every couple of months. Doors, Top Frame joints, latches, you name it.

 

Fair enough, if you want to be anal about it. They probably don't make the majority of their fluids and maintenance chemicals, but they sell them under the Honda brand.
