then again i'd hate to see a CF car get in a crash.

i thought we had aluminum bodies. check to see if the door you got is oem. non-oem products may use different material.
To reskin a door, they need to take teh door off. Odds are, when they rehung it, they didnt get it exactly right and consequently the sound will be off. Sure fire way to tell if a higher end car has been worked on is by slamming the doors, it's really hard to replicate the factory noise.
Btw, for those who are opposed to repairs with bodyfillers or used door assemblies, reskinning a door with an OEM skin requires the shop to take your door off, go around the entire edge of the door and essentially bend it off, sorta like hwo you get those foil pie tins from some take out places where the edges fold over the top, then put the new skin on and rolling the edges back onto the door... I mean it is pretty commonplace stuff for shops to do, but do you really think they;ll get it done right?
Anyway, hopefully the shop guy is discerning and will take a look at the door again for u, maybe adjust it some more.
On a side note, for the non high end makes, I love how accords sound when you close their doors, really solid sounding.

on the door that you replaced, what does the tap sound like? is it a metallic hollow sound or is it more of a dull flat sound? if it's dull and flat it's more than likely they had to use body filler for one reason or another.

It would have been a lot lighter if it was fiberglass.
Only advantage? They are cheap

Another question - How is it so hard to replicate the factory sound?? Whats the difference from the work done to the honda cars?
For ex: When they replaced my driver side skin on the door, the adhesive they put on (to connect the door and skin) the edges looks like crap. They did it by hand i think (I will try to take some pics) and it looks totally diff from the passenger door. I went to another high end place and they said it really hard to replicate the factory passenger look.
Why??? What machine can replicate that kind of work and where do they carry it?? That sucks because Im very anal about things.
