Your stock suspension is fully adjustable. You can't buy any more of a quality spring than Swift. There's zero reasons to buy coilovers if you just street your car.

I sincerely understand your plight. I was there in 1994... I think you should go with the Dremmel tool because of your costs constraints... but just go with .5 coils at a time. Take your time and make sure you get what you want - 4-5 cuts should do it.

I think Sears is a actually having a sale on cut-off wheels this weekend. How timely can that be? It's your destiny Luke!!!

if you don't plan on tracking your car then why go this route? just buy some espelir springs that will give you a nice drop, and save or spend the rest on other parts.
