Default What should i do

So i went to lease my first s the other day and i needed to trade in my car. I have an 04 civic and they offered me 3k less than kbb bc it had been in a minor accident. The rear bumper and some of the rear was replaced with oem parts. There was absolutely NO structural damage to the car and the accident was NOT my fault and the other drivers insurance payed for everything. The car is in great condition and the dealer said that everything was repaired perfect but they couldnt give me full value. They also told me they would sell the car for 5k more than they offered. Obviously a lot of money to play with if they wanted to make the sale. When i asked them who would cover the loss when i sell the car as i would assume it would lose value bc of the accident they told me they dont cover that. My question is what should i do. I am getting screwed big time bc someone else hit me. Is there any legal action i can take? The dealer told me to sell it privately but i need to buy the s before the lease deal expires on 7/5/05. I am also curious if the dealer didnt really wanna lease the car bc they dont make much money so they dont care if they sell the car to me or not. Any help would be appreciated....or if anyone wants to buy my car let me know.

I would say don't assume you won't be able to get an equal or better deal after 7/5/05. They are just trying to rush you into selling the civic at a low ball price so they can make more by selling that used than they will from the lease on the S2000.

Well you should know better than to trust him now. He won't know/be able to announce before Honda!

You've got a month to sell your car....give it a try.. While you've got it on the market....just continue trying to see what other dealers will give you for the trade in...

Go to another dealership. ANyone say this car is going to be canceled isn't trustworthy. This has been said since day one and it still hasn't happened. dump this dealership and move on.
