Default End of lease cost to refurbish the car?

Anyone familiar with the cost one has to pay at the end of the lease so that the dealer can refurbish the car to sell?

Usually how much will this cost with respect to the S2000? Is this something that is typical?

There is no cost, hand keys back to dealer and have a nice day.

Yeah, unless you've gone over your mileage there should be no cost to hand the car back over (except the cost of the next car )

usually any dents or dings that are larger than a credit card can be billable for repair... any major cosmetic mods could be billable if they want to pay attention,,,often depends on whether you're getting another vehicle from them or if they've had enough coffee the morning you turn it in...

You get a $1500 allowance for excess wear and tear, but no one item can equal more than $500 in repairs. The allowance does not cover excess miles, only damage.
I learned all this a few weeks ago when I turned in our Odyssey, very easy process.

Is that on ALL HFC leases? I had to pay for this type of coverage on my Boxster. I would be surprised if Honda would throw that in unless you were buying another Honda at the end of your lease- did you get another Honda? I do like the fact Honda does not charge a disposition fee. It seems most companies are adding these jems which are total crap if you are like me and keep the car immaculate. The disposition fee is typically $300-500. What is this fee for exactly???

Yes, all AHFC leases. About 4-6 months prior to lease end you get a packet in the mail that explains all the options. The security deposit, if you paid one, is usually $500, which can be used against excess wear & tear if needed. Everyone writes leases differently, I did not know about the $1500 allowance until I got my paperwork. AHFC does not have a disposition fee, I have no clue what it is for, I guess another way to make a little money off their customers...
No, we did not lease another Honda or Acura product.
