countersunk shift knob $40 Pearl Voodoo

just drive with your intake box open.
This actually lost hp on several peoples car.

The Voodoo or Muz countersunk shift knobs, Rick's clear sides and corners, shift beeper and used AEM V2 CAI or new K&N drop in filter are your best bets for under $100 imo.

Ehh... You won't lose any power unless its a 90 degree plus day. You would only lose power if you start sucking in hot air. Besides, you lose power from heat soak with the stock box either way. And you won't notice it either, despite what you "think" you feel.

And I'd keep my stock filter as it does a great job filtering. Unless you are great about maintaing a K and N etc... You will be sucking in a lot of crap into your engine.

IIRC there are replica spoon snorkels on ebay for around $100

You could also get a shift knob, or maybe a good deal on a used STB

How about a custom alignment - probably the best value for money mod you can do - even to a stock S2000

Oh snap! I had forgotten about an alignment. Yeah, get an agressive alignment. That's definately the best use for your money.

If money is that tight, put it away towards new tires.
