MY04: 2835 lbs.
MY00-03: 2810 lbs.

This information varies depending on the source sight. The MY04 weigh is from the Honda USA website. MY00-03 information is from Edmunds.

I was just reading a review of the 2004! and it states that there is extra-re-enforced x-frame parts in the chassi to give it a more stable feel...

i guess people cannot cope with the slight drift angle of the s2k so honda made it easier to control.

Drive without tires? I would like to know the weight of the tire/wheel combo.

I am surprised an 2004 owner has not pulled a wheel and measured this - if mine arrives next week, I will do so and post the results.

how can you make sure with every mod that you make to not lose the 50/50 weight distribution?

You nevwe would get a 50/50 weight distribution... once oyu fuelled the tank, once you sit on the car and drive.... but 47/53 is not bad...

00-03 Sotck wheels are 18 lbs without tire is my only reference if some one has the weight of tire & Wheel would be nice so we can compared apples to apples

Confusing question - the Honda brochure for the 2004 lists it as 49/51 by the way.

First, 50/50 is not some magical number. You could easily improve the suspension tuning and add some turbo plumbing up front and end up with a 51/49 screamer.

Plus, the magic 50/50 also is dependent on driver weight, no?

Not sure what your point is - most mods are not very heavy relative to a car that weighs over 2800 pounds.
