Default What are these symptoms?

I have an MY00 and I have these symptoms.

PLEASE READ and HELP ME

symptom 1
When I'm rolling really slow in 1st gear, either just using the clutch to go forward or just rolling really slow (2-3mph) and then when I try to go forward and step on the gas the car jerks violently back and forth for couple of seconds...doesn't happen all the time but usually when I have been rolling for at least 20-30 seconds..

symptom 2
when I'm just coasting in gear without using gas and then try to accelerate (in that same gear) the acceleration isn't smooth..(like automatic cars) I have to be really smooth and slow with gas in order for it to be smooth...

symptom 3
in general there is a lot of shaking between disengaging clutch and depressing gas..like when I start to go from a stop by just slowly letting of the clutch..when I get near the sweet spot the car shakes alot (before I depress gas to go).
I have driven my friends' cars and didn't notice that much shaking....
maybe the clutch is worn out??

could these be due to MAP sensor? or fuel injectors??
anyone have any idea?

LMAO...you're a noob at stickshift arn't you. Don't worry about the clutch. The shaking is just because you don't give it enough gas to accelerate. I accidently put my car in 3rd gear for take off and it shook a lot too.

I know that it's from not enough gas but seems like it's shaking more than it should..

You've mentioned it only shakes when you take off. In 1st gear, it will shake if you release the clutch to the "sweet spot", as you call it, and don't press on the gas enough. And don't compare your friend's car to your S2000. Every car is different especially the cluth. You have to adjust your style. But if it doesn't work out, sell it and get an automatic because you're clearly not suited to drive standardshift.

Don't worry about the other comments. Just get out there and drive the car a bit more. Remember when the car is doing something you feel it shouldn't (or maybe you don't like the way it feels), try adjusting your driving style first.

To the other fella: don't degrade the helpful community we have here at S2KI.

Okie, from the beginning to the end I was trying to help him out. I was pointing out what has to be done in order for it to stop shaking. You basically just told him practice makes perfect and not giving him any pointers. And there you told me I was degrading him
I think he was talking about this portion of your post:

Not a huge deal, I think it just came accross as abrasive.

Anyway, I concur... give it more gas, and don't have the clutch pedal out and rolling at 2-3mph. The car has no torque. Try putting the pedal in and rolling at that point, then re-engaging and gasing it up.
