My car does the same thing, remmeber, these cars don't have much torque, my buddy could fully disengage his car in 1st from a stop and will roll for a while before it stalls, gl with that on our cars. Practice makes perfect. Also, when u turn on ur ac or heater, itll be more pronounce.

Have a more experienced manual driver take a spin. They'll be able to tell you if it's normal or not. If not normal, let us know and we can help figure out the problem.

All you got to do is put more gas in and you should be fine. It occurs with some other cars too if you do what you're doing. Just put more gas in and you have nothing to worry about.

Okie, from the beginning to the end I was trying to help him out. I was pointing out what has to be done in order for it to stop shaking. You basically just told him practice makes perfect and not giving him any pointers. And there you told me I was degrading him
Certainly laughing at his post does not help either. Practice does make perfect. I dont know about you but there is no way I could learn how to drive a car from reading posts on a forum?!?!? Its something you gotta feel.... To the OP just take your time and feel whats going on with the car, make adjustments in driving style, and off you go!

+1 on the idea of getting somebody with a lot of time on a manual transmission to try the car. Symptom 2 has me a little concerned. Sounds like it might be drivetrain lash...something worn in the drive train that causes the transitions between engine accelerating and engine braking to be more violent than they should be.

However, it could just be driving style as others have mentioned. Thats why I'd like to get feedback on your car from an experienced stick driver.

LOL. That could be it. Back to the point, the second symptom is probably because he selects the wrong gear to accelerate. I'm sure we've all experienced it. Furthermore, for the a noob to drive stickshift as smooth as automatic is unheard of.

From the description, it sounds like he might have some extreme aftermarket clutch, like a 6 puck or something. If so, you either replace it or get used to it. #2 does sound wierd to me as well, but still could be bad driver form.

Dude, I don't know you, so i can't really judge you. But from your posts, you come across as a total jerk off. Does it make yourself feel better to put down someone on their driving ability??? I mean everyone was a noob in the beginning right? How hard is it to be nice and tell him what he needs to do to fix the problem. He posts because he wants help not ridicule, and this is what S2ki should be all about.
