Ive heard its 143 (drag limited), but its real topspeed (redlline limit) would be around 153-155.

 

Nope. I have had in just below 150mph and there was plenty of room to go.

I did the math on this one time and i believe it was around 166 @ 9000 but a little more than that if you calculate 9400 RPMS since that is where the rev limiter goes off. I realize there is drag but the car will go faster than 150.

The mph/1k rpm is 6th gear is 18.5.

1krpm more to reach the redline so 146+18.5=164.5 at 8900 (redline), so 164.5 is the true top speed. Now if you say your 4 banger goes to 9.4k rpm then your topspeed would be 173.75!

I was seriously mistaken by the top speed, this car goes faster than I ever thought it would.

But to get to this speed you need a pretty good hill because the 153 lb/f of torque wont overcome that type of wind resistance if your driving on a level road.

Now, if you add a couple of good mods, this changes the story

 

The most i've reached is 8500rpm in 6th which was an indicated 157mph on the speedo, but it will still pulling and i had to let off.

 

I haven't yet taken my car so high.

However, we know the Red Line is 9,300. The top would theoretically be in the 170's. However, drag is the factor that makes the difference and its effect is ever changing.

I would expect to see 160-165 from my car but I am not sure how stable I would feel.

If I have addons would they slow me down? Does the spolier decrease top speed?

What about Bigger wheels?
