the digi tach reported 157 on the NJ pike -- 6th gear around 8.5k rev -- between exits 8a and 9 (for the NJ crowd) north bound. i've seen faster speeds on the R6 (163+mph, i say "+" because i can't really be watchin the tach at those speeds), but its just as fun in the 150mph range in the S2. what i love most about those hight speeds are bridges that seem a mile away are in the rear view a second later even better are the faces of drivers in old accords (nothing against accords) with a shiny muffler pushing 90-100mph, thinking they're going fast, than i fly by

164 Private road. Top up no modifications drivetrain wise but with my current shorter rim tire combo it would account for the error in speed. With stock rims and tires 159 +/- 2 mph. Fully loaded with me my stereo equipment and my gear. Car really starts to stick to the ground at about 140.

car feels floaty at 130 to 140, how come the vtec doesnt seem to kick in in 6th gear, it took my car forever to get from 140 to 155 then it held steady at 165 at 8700 rpms and would go anymore than that, i have cold air and bigger wheels, but i dont think that made a HUGE difference
