Default what trickle charger do you use?

i have chargers on my bikes and need to get one for the s2000. battery has been holding up well, but with 5 vehicles i realized that i should have them all hooked up-

what do you use to keep your car charged?
if you have a web link that would be great !

Wanabe... BatteryTender is a great brand. The one that you recently received, I use on my "mower" battery, but opted to get the Battery Tender Plus for the car battery. Either will work.

thx for the info 8ball-

on the bikes i leave the pigtail connected at all times and just plug into that.
do you do this with the s2000?
did you have to modify the pigtail if you did this? seems to me that it is too short to get to the grill, and not sure where else would be a good place to hang the end.
or do you just lift the hood to get to it?

Batter Tender's are great. I've had mine for 4 years that I use on my motorcycle in the middle of winter.

Thankfully here in Virginia there are only 2-3 weeks per winter that are not suitable for S2000 driving.

+1 on that...

i have one bike that stays on the tender. the other one gets ridden enough that it rarely is on.

because of the bikes, the s2000 isnt getting much road time anymore. have to say that it now is a special treat to drive that car!! i have always loved driving it, but its like anything that you do every day- it loses something (not sure how else to describe this). when i drive it once in a while it brings back all of the fun of when it was new. and makes it much easier to drive it like i stole it !!

do you open the hood, or do you have a pigtail connected somehow to hook yours up?

I know what you mean. I also spend a lot of time on my bike from spring - fall so the S2000 has been averaging 5,000 miles per year and much of that is trips to the tail of the dragon and other destinations. Every time I get back in the S2000 after a week or more I have to get back in tune with the car and it usually takes 15 minutes or so of driving to start shifting like butter again, have to relearn that clutch again as I have 2 other cars and a 5 speed Tacoma and none of them drive like an S2000.
