Looks like someone is trying to imitate Johnny Tran's S2000 from the first Fast and Furious movie by putting an SR motor in for Race Wars. Its a JDM "redtop" SR20DET from the S13 Nissan Silvias (240SX in the states.) I too think they scammed the insurance company by doing the switcheroo hoping no one would be the wiser

if it was a scam wouldnt he also take out the ap2 tail lights and put in ap1s?

also I googled sr20 in s2000 and this is what came up

They probably realized that s13 tail lamps weren't a direct fit like the motor swap. Why be greedy and raise suspicion? I think they didn't have a Set of ap1 tail lamps handy before the car was picked up.

Probably wanted to go for a drifting with it ROFL! Probably thought since he had a sr20 like the silvias probably be able to drift like one. My 2cents

lol i see what you mean, but these insurance auto auction companies could care less if the s2k you bought had an F2x or an SR20 in it. once you buy its yours doesn't matter if its powered by honda or nissan, the buyer has to be aware of what they are buying. either way it looks F***ed up beyond repair.
