Default What is up with the demand for s2k

Has anyone notice that it is difficult to sell your s2k? I have seen many ads posted since last year and still up for sale. What is wrong with our s2k? Is it due to the season? economy? When I bought mine, the demand was more than supply. I hope this still holds true, if not at least even.

Cold weather + weak economy + three-year old design = low demand.

It's a bad time to sell, but a great time to buy.

Personally, a lightly used S2000 is almost a steal at the going rates, I believe the car is worth far more than it is being valued (if that makes sense).

Now isn't the best time to sell one. Give it another year or two and this car will be easy to sell.

its because of the season, wait till spring or summer and more and more poeple will want to buy the s2k. not a lot of people like buying a convertible when there is 2 feet of snow outside. but i do agree, its the best time to buy since the dealers have so many sitting on the lots.

I live in the San Francisco. The weather here does cool down to about 50's. But on someday I can still put down my top. Do you think the seasonal also play factor here in the bay area?

It's late summer here in Sydney but prices are still depressed.
The S is no longer the latest toy - and it is expensive (although I think it is worth it).

Cheaper: 350Z, RX8, MX5, MGTF, MR2, Alfa Spyder, WRX/STI
Not much more: Boxster, Merc 230SLK, Audi TT, Z3/Z4

That's a lot of competition.
