Default What is up with those front bumper holes?

I've seen a few heavily modded s2k's on here with rectangular cut outs in the front bumper. Obviously looks like it would be great for spoon or mugen intakes. Is this a custom job or does someone sell the cutout bezel? Any benefit to this or not worth it unless you have heavy engine work?

it comes like that. i believe the mugen and one other company has that hole you speak of. its used to draw air into the intake.

Some bumpers come like that, but there is also a duct made by Alex Motorsports you can install in just about any bumper to direct air into your intake.
