Owners please post. Flamethrowers; why not just disregard this poll and do something useful with your time if you think this thread is dumb?

 

I knew when I bought mine last month that the 2.2 Liter was coming out.. But I really dont think your gonna see a WHOLE lot of improvment...

I love my car. I'm keeping it forever.

 

If the power is that much of difference, I'd spend the 5k and buy the crate motor. Probably most of the new advances put forth on the 2200, will be able to be applied to the s2000. They seem to be made from the same base. So better engine, better rear, better tranny... make the swap.

 

I got my S a month ago also, I love it and will prolly keep it for as long as I can. And when it gets to the point where I can't drive it anymore, it will become lawn decoration

 

I am holding out till 04 if nothing else just for the possibility of the automatic hard boot.

 

what will i do? hmm, ill probably be one of the first to test drive it when it comes to our dealership.

 

If I were all that concerned about the extra HP, I would just buy a supercharger. It would give me more HP for less money.

 

I will test drive the 2.2 just to know what it's like. But I won't buy it.
